## Key Principles
- **Document behavior, not implementation** — NatSpec describes WHAT and WHY
- **Keep docs next to code** — NatSpec in the contract, not a separate wiki
- **Audit reports serve multiple audiences** — executives read summaries, engineers read findings
- **Update docs with code** — stale documentation is worse than none
