## What this project does NOT do

The Apache-2.0 grant above covers **the source code of this project**, and nothing else.
On top of that, the project deliberately stays out of several areas:

- **It does not host or distribute any video content.** There is no server, no mirror, no
  proxy, no CDN. Every byte it processes comes from a file you already have or from a URL you
  supplied, on your machine, for your own use.
- **Caches are local and temporary.** Downloaded media lives under your OS temp/local-appdata
  directory with a size cap and rolling eviction. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
- **No paid-content access, no DRM circumvention, no region-lock bypass.** The tool shells out
  to whatever `yt-dlp` you installed and uses whatever credentials you provide. If a platform
  gates something behind a paywall or DRM, this project has no capability to open it.
- **No bulk scraping.** One URL per call, no crawling, no account pools, no rate-limit evasion.
  If a site pushes back (429/412/567), the tool reports it and stops.
- **You are responsible for what you point it at.** Confirm you have the right to download and
  process that content, and follow the site's terms and local law.

Images under `docs/` are not part of the code grant:

- `docs/demo-real.png` — a storyboard of the repository author's **own** video, included to show
  what the tool looks like on real footage. © the author; documentation only, not for reuse.

No third-party footage, model weights or binaries are redistributed in this repository.
