# Compatibility

The initial preset is derived from the official `deepseek-ai/deepseek-harness` checkout at commit `00102833dfaee1da9f48a3a8eae9d34005a75218`, whose Web bundle declares version `0.1.7-alpha.2`. It is based on `packages/bundle/web-app/presets/cordis.patch.yml` and adds a distinct `plugin-crafter` declaration plus this package's Skill root.

Verified on 2026-09-28 with the target source CLI (`pnpm dsh`, Node 24.19.0) and an isolated `DSH_HOME`. The packed `0.1.0` tarball installed into a `workbench-trial` profile derived from Web. The composed profile contained `preset-plugin-workbench`; the running Web Host listed `plugin-workbench` without a mount diagnostic. A new Session recorded the temporary case workspace and its `skills/list` response included this package's three Skills plus the official `cordis-plugin-development` and `editing-cordis-compositions` Skills. No model task or browser UI flow was run; neither is required for this configuration and Skill bundle's current behavior. The separately installed global CLI on this workstation is `0.1.0-rc.6`; it has a different preset mechanism and was not used for compatibility testing.

On the same date, the repository, package, primary Skill, and preset were renamed to Plugin Crafter (`dsh-plugin-crafter`, `plugin-crafter`). The new packed tarball replaced the old package in the same isolated profile; its composed config contained only `preset-plugin-crafter`. The running Host listed Plugin Crafter, and a new Session selected `plugin-crafter` and exposed all three packaged Skills plus the official Creator Skills. The `workbench-trial` profile name above is retained as an existing test deployment identifier.

When updating the target version, run `node scripts/sync-official-preset.mjs --write <target-checkout>` and review the generated diff. Then run package checks and isolated installation, composition, Host, and skill-catalog checks against that exact target. Update this record with the tested version and evidence.

The initial public release also includes three installable examples and a reproducible packed-artifact Host runner. See [example verification](examples-verification.md) for the real model-assisted development trial, actual tool and route behavior, isolation evidence, and limitations of the tested checkout.
