You notice a connection in their eyes. Wounded, what would you like to do.",

NOW the headache hits: this is a hangover only in the sense that the plague is an illness. A couple of hens peck the ground near your feet. You vomit in the dust and straw in front of you: the chickens investigate. You wash out your mouth with the last sip of stale water from your canteen. Now you can see that you were sleeping on the bench of a wagon, which somehow crashed through the wall of the chicken coop. Vanished are the horses you remember pulling the wagon, too fast across a bridge with the rest of the party in the back. The rest of your party is sprawled across the coop and begins to awaken. The rooster crows again. Gods, it hurts.",
  "The party wakes up on a beach in front of a neverending forest that seems to go on for forever, no matter how far they go. They must complete a quest in the woods in order to be allowed to leave.",

While resting, one of the party overhears a conversation between the leader and his mage assistant. They want to get the artifact and gold to themself. During night, whem everyone seems asleep, you see the leader and his aide at the pedestal where the artifact is. On touch, the leader screams and throws the artifact towards the group, to suddenly get ripped apart by an unknown force. A strong wind seems to suck in all that is close and its getting stronger. You wake up everyone, tske the artifact and run out of the dungeon. Outside, the dungeon collapses and you are stranded in the mountains without gear or rations, only one horse with provisons is still there, while all others fled. Its the PCs and the three soldiers survived.",
  "The party is hired to investigate a death at the archaeological dig site of a ruined city. One of the archaeologists disappeared into thin air, only to reappear days later. He seemed fine at first, but then during supper started rapidly aging and died of old age. While investigating, the party steps through a one-way portal. They find themselves in the city before it was ruined, and later on figure out the entire city is stuck in a Groundhog Day loop. They have to either figure out how to break the city from the loop or find out how to escape themselves while not dying the same way the archaeologist did.",

They are only asked to play the part of the kingdom's legends but end up actually getting caught up in an adventure to protect their homeland and must become the heroes they were pretending to be.",

  "A band of dark gnomes scouting the area for gems are tied up and motion however they can for help. When asked what happened, they say that the dark dwarves crossed their paths and were transporting some strange, glowing crystals that turned their eyes pure white.",
  "A large painting on the side of the cavern wall depicts a moment of conflict between two mounted knights. In elegant script above the mural it says “Slay the green knight or let pestilence spread.” A pungent odor seems to be coming from the mural.",

  "At the end of the passage, the path ends halfway up in a large chamber with a river of lava below. A boat made of giant bones crewed by skeletons is heading down the river and through what appears to be the mouth of a titan’s skull.",

  "All the silver in city is going missing and just last night a guard saw some rats skittering around with silver coins in their mouths and heading for the sewer. When they sent someone down to investigate they claimed a large, bipedal rat was commanding and controlling all the rats.",
  "A roadside temple has been vandalized with the bodies of the clergy strewn about and graffiti in some eldritch script marking the outside. One of the bodies uses their dying breath to warn of a dead god’s resurrection inside.",
  "Dangerous booby traps are being set up at night around town, springing on the unsuspecting citizens in the morning. After a near casualty, tracks looking like kobold feet were found near the site of the trap leading out of town.",
  "Shortly after arriving in town it becomes known that people are randomly disappearing in the night, seemingly kidnapped right out of their own homes. The victims are seemingly random and clues are scarce, but the mayor desperately needs people to look into it and find the missing people.",

  "The courier for a wealthy lord is trying to round up would-be heroes to help take down the lord’s insidious rival. What the courier doesn’t tell these heroes is that the rival is a young boy who has had power for less than a year since his parents passed away.",
