History, prehistory, nature and recreation come together along Parker Dam's 11 miles along the California/Arizona border near Lake Havasu.  Camp, boat, and hike near the Colorado River, or enjoy rock hounding, photography, and wildlife viewing in a spectacular desert setting.  Along the route, you'll find plenty of opportunities to drive off-highway vehicles, but the road itself is accessible by passenger cars.

Parker Dam Road's unique juxtaposition of cool river and stark desert terrain makes it a unique and fulfilling visit.  Visit the Lake Havasu BLM Field Office before you hit the road to fully enjoy the Colorado River and its surrounding amenities.
