# shit-poster

Artemis / 420.COMPANY poster and cover composition skill. Use it for posters,
book covers, album covers, event art, social covers, article images, and strong
one-shot visual concepts.

## Identity

- Public skill name: `shit-poster`
- Renamed from the upstream poster-design package.
- Host identity: Artemis and 420.COMPANY only.
- Do not expose upstream assistant, marketplace, or installation branding in generated work.

## Core Approach

The skill creates bold screen-print-inspired compositions with clear hierarchy,
limited palettes, symbolic objects, negative space, and ratio-specific layouts.
It should produce either:

- a detailed image-generation prompt,
- an HTML/SVG/static composition,
- or a complete art direction sheet for a designer or image model.

## Workflow

1. Identify the deliverable:
   - movie or event poster
   - book cover
   - album cover
   - article hero
   - social image
   - WeChat or Xiaohongshu ratio
2. Lock the ratio before composition:
   - 21:9 for wide covers
   - 16:9 for article images
   - 3:4 for social cards
   - 1:1 for album covers
   - 9:16 for posters and book covers
3. Choose one symbolic focal idea.
4. Select one composition pattern from `references/composition-patterns.md`.
5. Use a limited palette, usually two to five colors.
6. Add texture language only when it improves the output: halftone, risograph,
   paper grain, slight registration offset, or flat ink fields.
7. Produce concrete output: prompt, layout spec, HTML/SVG, or image asset plan.

## Quality Bar

- One strong concept beats a collage of disconnected symbols.
- Preserve negative space.
- Make typography part of the composition, not an afterthought.
- Avoid photorealism unless the user explicitly asks for it.
- For generated prompts, specify ratio, palette, focal element, composition,
  texture, and mood.
