# Investor Demo Guide

This walkthrough demonstrates Aeonora as a working proof of concept: one encrypted Markdown brain can be saved, recovered, addressed on IPFS, and optionally committed to Base Sepolia.

## What you need

- A current desktop browser.
- Five minutes.
- Optional: a browser wallet with Base Sepolia ETH for the on-chain step.

Do not use sensitive personal data in a public demo. The vault encrypts in the browser, but the project remains experimental and unaudited.

## Step 1: Create the agent brain

1. Open [aeonora.net/app](https://aeonora.net/app/).
2. Select **Create encrypted vault**.
3. Record the 24-word recovery phrase outside the browser.
4. Replace the starter `AGENTS.md` text with a short mission and durable memory.
5. Select **Encrypt + sync**.

Visible proof: the version increments and the page shows an `ipfs://` CID. The network receives ciphertext, not the Markdown plaintext.

## Step 2: Prove continuity

1. Select **Add passkey** if the browser supports WebAuthn PRF.
2. Select **Disconnect**.
3. Unlock with the passkey, or paste the 24-word phrase and select **Recover from phrase**.

The exact saved Markdown, vault ID, and version return. The passkey is a device convenience. The recovery phrase is the portable fallback.

## Step 3: Show the storage proof

Copy the CID shown in the vault. Remove the `ipfs://` prefix and open:

```text
https://ipfs.aeonora.net/ipfs/<CID>
```

The response is an encrypted Aeonora envelope. It should not contain the Markdown plaintext or recovery phrase. The CID identifies the exact bytes. The current proof of concept pins this data on one self-hosted Kubo node, so it is content-addressed but not independently replicated.

## Step 4: Optionally anchor it on-chain

1. Select **Connect wallet** and approve Base Sepolia.
2. Select **Deploy registry** and confirm the deployment transaction.
3. Select **Anchor agent** and confirm the requested transactions.
4. Open the resulting Basescan link.

The registry records the controller, constitution commitment, agent ID, encrypted-brain CID, and ciphertext commitment. It does not receive plaintext memory, recovery words, or private keys. Each user currently deploys a registry from the app. Aeonora does not yet publish one canonical production registry address.

## The concise pitch

> AI agents are trapped inside runtimes. Aeonora separates the agent from the harness: an owner-controlled encrypted brain, a portable recovery key, and optional on-chain proof of identity and continuity.

## Accurate claims

Say:

- working experimental prototype;
- client-side encrypted Markdown brain;
- 24-word and passkey recovery;
- self-hosted IPFS content addressing;
- optional Base Sepolia proof;
- tested Markdown adapters for Hermes, OpenClaw, NanoClaw, and OpenHands surfaces.

Do not say permanent, fully decentralized, externally audited, post-quantum secure, behaviorally identical across every model, or production-ready for funds and irreversible actions.

## Troubleshooting

- **Passkey unavailable:** use the recovery phrase. WebAuthn PRF support varies.
- **Wallet missing:** skip the on-chain step or install a compatible browser wallet.
- **Insufficient gas:** fund the wallet with Base Sepolia test ETH.
- **CID unavailable:** treat the demo as degraded. The current IPFS node is a single availability dependency.
