## v2.9.2 (2026-08-31)

### Preserve valid roles while retiring invalid responsibility

- Add a bounded preservation reminder for changes involving identity,
  selectors, precedence, scope, or role binding: name evidence-backed behavior
  that must remain correct, the highest-risk counterexample, and material
  unknown or uninspected surfaces before choosing the repair.
- Make role-before-value reasoning explicit when the same identifier, path, or
  event can serve different objectives or demands.
- Refine dual-track governance so retirement first removes obsolete authority
  or responsibility, while a carrier with a separately evidenced legitimate
  role keeps only that role-scoped capability.
- Avoid assuming that an agent can discover every implicit consumer or preserved
  behavior. The reminder calibrates the claim and exposes uncertainty instead
  of creating an exhaustive behavior inventory.
- Keep the method lightweight: bounded preservation creates no universal
  artifact, new TDD risk signal, automatic regression-scope expansion, or
  authoritative runtime gate.
- Add deterministic workflow-quality coverage for multi-role repairs, invalid
  responsibility retirement, legitimate capability preservation, and the
  method-pack/runtime-core boundary.

### Verification boundary

- Fresh workflow-quality, boundary-compliance, governance-completion,
  Codex-skill-parser, Codex plugin-sync, and version-audit checks passed.
- The required full E2E command was attempted through Git Bash. Governance
  completion, Layer 2, and Layer 3 passed; Layer 1 passed 39 checks and retained
  two environment-bound failures: the offline Codex benchmark fixture is
  unsupported on this Windows platform, and the nested Codex smoke sandbox
  could not start PowerShell (`Windows error 5`).
- The same natural `brainstorming` smoke succeeded when rerun through the host
  boundary without the nested sandbox restriction: Codex loaded
  `brainstorming/SKILL.md` from the release candidate and returned the
  workflow's expected first step.

## v2.9.1 (2026-08-29)

### Faster startup routing with unchanged governance coverage

- Reduce the `using-aegis` startup router from 3,434 to 2,712 bytes, bringing
  the hot path back below the approved 2,800-byte target.
- Keep startup routing focused on selecting the primary workflow owner and
  defer detailed strict/light TDD semantics to the existing on-demand
  `skill-discipline.md` reference.
- Explicitly keep explanation-only and read-only diagnosis tasks outside
  implementation, TDD, and write gates, reducing unnecessary routing work for
  high-reasoning Codex sessions.
- Preserve goal framing, brainstorming, debugging, change-necessity,
  task-snapshot, architecture-review, workspace, evidence-hygiene, and
  traceability contracts through deterministic regression coverage.
- Restore the context-budget thresholds to the approved 2,800-byte warning and
  3,200-byte hard-fail limits, removing test-to-baseline drift.
- After updating or reinstalling Aegis, start a fresh host session so cached or
  copied skill views do not retain the previous router. No manual global
  routing-prefix migration is required.

### Verification boundary

- Context-budget, TDD-policy, manifest JSON, diff, and Codex plugin-sync checks
  passed. The startup router is 2,712 bytes against the approved 2,800-byte
  target.
- The required full E2E command was attempted. Governance completion, Layer 2,
  and Layer 3 passed; Layer 1 retained the known environment-bound limitation
  that the offline Codex benchmark fixture is unsupported on this Windows/Git
  Bash platform.
- The two representative Codex routing smokes initially stopped before routing
  because the restricted Windows sandbox could not resolve the Codex home.
  Both the natural and explicit `brainstorming` cases passed when rerun through
  the host boundary, loading `using-aegis` and `brainstorming` from the release
  candidate.

## v2.9.0 (2026-08-28)

### Make Codex automatic TDD routing fail closed

- Fix issue #32 by defining `auto` routing as strict-risk OR semantics and
  light-eligibility AND semantics. Any behavior, bugfix, shared/core, contract,
  persistence, permission, migration, producer/consumer, or meaningful
  regression signal now requires `strict`; missing explicit TDD wording is
  never evidence for `light`.
- Assign route selection to the workflow that first authorizes production
  source edits. Planning and debugging owners record the decision, while plan
  execution and TDD workflows validate and consume it instead of silently
  reclassifying unsupported `auto` records.
- Project the selected TDD mode into the managed Aegis block in Codex's global
  `AGENTS.md`, preserving existing user guidance and keeping native semantic
  matching host-owned. Add idempotency and explicit-target creation coverage.
- Correct the high-risk workflow fixture so planning owns the initial route,
  then hands a recorded automatic strict decision to TDD. Add deterministic
  invalid-light guards and an environment-bound four-case Codex route smoke.
- Update Codex installation guidance, compatibility evidence, trigger-health
  expectations, testing instructions, and the retained model-mediated routing
  limitation without claiming runtime-core authority.
- The manually copied English and Chinese global routing prefixes remain valid
  because they delegate detailed TDD policy to the loaded skill. Codex users
  enabling `auto` should rerun the documented `aegis-doctor.py tdd-mode auto
  --agents-md ...` command and start a fresh session to refresh the managed
  projection.

### Verification boundary

- Fresh doctor, TDD-policy, workflow-quality, activation, boundary, Codex
  plugin-sync, skill-parser, focused unit checks, candidate-local skill
  triggering, and the four-case live Codex route smoke passed.
- The full E2E release command was attempted. The remaining failure is the
  existing agentic benchmark harness on Windows because its active-run
  supervisor requires POSIX facilities such as `fcntl`; other failures found
  during that run were repaired and rerun directly.

## v2.8.9 (2026-08-27)

### Bind managed worktrees to host tasks

- Require native Worktree/Handoff lifecycle handling on host surfaces that
  declare task- or chat-bound managed workspaces, with a joint readback proving
  the trusted task workspace, default command `cwd`, Git worktree root, and
  intended `HEAD`/branch state refer to the same environment.
- Fail closed when managed-workspace capability is unavailable or unverifiable;
  generic `git worktree add` remains available only when trusted host/session
  evidence positively identifies a non-managed surface.
- Preserve existing manual, dirty, untracked, or ownership-unknown worktrees;
  do not silently migrate, stash, reset, overwrite, or delete them.
- Handle Codex-managed worktrees' documented detached `HEAD` default safely,
  while still stopping on an unexplained detached `HEAD`.
- Add Codex host guidance, compatibility/known-limitation updates, and
  deterministic contract checks covering managed binding, unknown capability,
  CLI fallback compatibility, path identity, and fail-closed behavior.

### Verification boundary

- Fresh workflow-quality, skill-parser, boundary, governance, context-budget,
  and Codex plugin-sync checks passed; the representative Codex skill-trigger
  smoke also passed when rerun independently.
- The required full E2E command was attempted. Layer 2, Layer 3, and governance
  checks passed; Layer 1 retains the known environment-bound failure that the
  offline Codex benchmark fixture is unsupported on this Windows/Git Bash
  platform. This does not change the method-pack or host-authority claims.

## v2.8.8 (2026-08-24)

### Fix DeepSeek Harness GitHub installation over SSH

- Replace active DeepSeek Harness installation instructions and updater output
  that used `github:GanyuanRan/Aegis` with the explicit
  `git+https://github.com/GanyuanRan/Aegis.git` source form.
- Prevent public-repository installs from entering an SSH transport path that
  requires users to configure GitHub SSH credentials.
- Add regression assertions covering the English and Chinese install entry
  points, the DeepSeek Harness guide, and updater-generated commands.
- Preserve historical release-note examples while making current user-facing
  installation guidance use HTTPS.

### 先例调研透镜与报告纪律

- `brainstorming` 新增 **Prior-Art & Reuse Lens**：方案引入新机制、协议、工件
  形状或非常规交互模式时，按行为触发协议检索已验证的外部实践——限量来源、
  索引优先、逐断言引用锚点；`Adopt verbatim / Adapt with reason / Reject with
  reason / Degraded` 四态矩阵把每处裁剪与拒绝绑定到具名项目约束而非个人口味，
  host 无 web/search 工具时标记外部依据未知并继续内部证据。
- `first-principles-review` 五行速审新增可选 **Known Prior Art** 行：方向依赖
  新机制或陌生领域时插入，先例不可验证时标 unknown。

验证：`tests/e2e/workflow-quality-check.sh` 全量通过；
`tests/e2e/first-principles-review-check.sh` 通过；`git diff --check` 干净。
纯方法措辞与触发纪律变更，不改变 runtime authority 边界。

## v2.8.5 (2026-08-22)

### 诊断措辞正交化：七层是观测海拔，因果形状由拓扑分类描述

- 退役"层阶梯 = 单条因果链"的表述：process baseline 诊断不变量与
  `systematic-debugging` 主循环明确 L1-L7 为向上钻取的观测海拔，停止海拔处
  的因果形状（单根 / 链 / 复合 / 簇）须在根因声明前显式分类，消除单链归因
  倾向的措辞根源。
- Causal Topology Gate 触发条件客观化：除主观 "compound/root topology is
  plausible" 外，新增两个可数证据信号——同一事件存在 ≥2 个锚定表现、复现
  条件跨出现分歧——命中即强制读 `root-cause-claim-contract.md`，防止 agent
  因未意识到复合可能而跳过六拓扑分类。
- 合同 Topology Gate 节补无环假设声明与环路路由注记：逐成员修复后症状仍再生
  时按 Architecture Escalation 证据处理，而非继续追加簇成员。
- 快路径手册（EN/ZH）用户入口短语去链化："说明因果链停在哪一层"改为"说明
  诊断停在哪一层、为什么"。
- `AEGIS_KNOWN_LIMITATIONS.md` 新增 2.27：六拓扑假设无环收敛于离散机制，
  环/反馈因果与涌现型根因暂非一等分类，现有兜底为三连败架构升级，并记录第
  七拓扑的升级条件（真实 replay 案例 + 矩阵样本 + 校验器证据标准）。

验证：`tests/e2e/debugging-patch-shape-gate-check.sh` 88/88 通过；
`tests/e2e/workflow-quality-check.sh` 全量通过；
`tests/e2e/run-all.sh --full --host-profile fast` 44 项中 41 项通过，3 项失败
经 stash 对照在干净 HEAD 上同样复现，属本机环境绑定预存问题（离线 Codex
fixture 平台仅支持 linux musl 目标、Codex CLI 活体技能触发标记漂移），与本
次 diff 无关。纯方法措辞与触发纪律变更，不改变 runtime authority 边界。

## v2.8.4 (2026-08-19)

### DeepSeek Harness 注入延迟到首个 promotion 信号，兼容锚定预设

- DSH bundle 不再在 `agent/session-start` 同步注入 `using-aegis` bootstrap，
  避免污染首轮请求的零注入基线（修复 issue #19 的锚定复现失败）。
- 每个 `startup`/`resume`/`clear`/`compact` 边界只 arm 一次待注入；在会话首个
  durable promotion 信号（`tool/call` 或 `assistant/message`）之后才通过
  `agent.inject` 交付一次，保证每个 gated epoch 的首个模型请求保持零注入。
- `compaction/end` 会重新 arm；subagent 与无稳定 `session.id` 的会话跳过；
  `explicit` activation mode 行为不变。
- 更新 `docs/README.deepseek-harness.md` 及 host compatibility / known
  limitations / release checklist / trigger-health 文档；确定性测试与 62 项
  e2e boundary check 通过。

## v2.8.3 (2026-08-18)

### 全局用户规则收敛为单一路由前缀

- 退役 Lite / Advanced 双层手工 profile，统一为一份功能语义、两份语言镜像的
  `GLOBAL_USER_RULES_TEMPLATE` 路由前缀。
- 新前缀只负责 activation、最小 skill 加载、fast path 与上下文重入；规划、调试、
  TDD、验证、治理和输出要求继续由已加载的 Aegis skill 按需负责。
- 新用户只需把前缀添加到现有全局用户规则开头，无需改动原有内容。已复制旧
  Lite / Advanced 区块的用户应只替换旧 Aegis 区块，保留其他原有全局规则。
- Activation Mode 继续保持默认 `auto`、可选 `explicit`；TDD Mode 继续保持默认
  `off`、可选 `auto`。这些手工副本仍不由 `aegis:update` 自动更新。
- 发布验证确认 Codex 显式与自然语义触发均可加载 `using-aegis` 和
  `brainstorming`；Windows sandbox 无法启动配置 shell 的环境边界已写入 Known
  Limitations，不误记为 Aegis 路由回归。

## v2.8.2 (2026-08-17)

### brainstorming 设计决策校准实践回填

从 Aegis-code 将设计决策校准实践回填到 `brainstorming` 技能，纯方法文案追加，
不改变 runtime / completion authority 边界：

- 新增 Route Fixtures 校准表与严格路由优先级：盘问/拷问/审问路由到
  `Grilling Mode`，显式目标意图路由到 `goal-framing`，review 路由到
  `requesting-code-review`；文件数不再作为设计信号。
- 新增 Role And Authority Contract：Agent-owned 决策（仓库调查、文件组织、
  验证机制、可逆实现结构）由 Agent 直接解决；User-owned 仅保留产品行为、
  不可逆/生产/公共/敏感影响与不可发现事实；每条用户提问先通过"换一个答案
  会改变哪个设计边界"测试。
- Grilling Mode 结尾新增结构化 `Challenge Result`（存留/否决假设、所需新证据、
  设计变更、残余风险、返回状态），收敛质量可验证。
- 新增 8 个 Software Scenario Profiles（greenfield / existing-system /
  refactor / public-contract / persistence / ui-workflow / security /
  operational-release），按场景加载相关 lens，不再无差别堆叠。
- 新增 Design Probe 一次性探针纪律与 Design Ready / Design Complete 收敛条件；
  Design Complete 保持 method readiness，不构成完成 authority。
- 原 HARD GATE、spec 审批点、workspace 初始化、compact output contract 与
  grilling 模式语义保持不变；trigger-health 与 workflow-quality 新增 12 条
  内容断言 pin 本次新增章节。

## v2.8.1 (2026-08-16)

### DeepSeek Harness 路由稳定性与安装分流

- DSH profile plugin 在 `startup`、`resume`、`clear`、`compact` 原生
  `agent/session-start` 生命周期同步注入紧凑 `using-aegis` bootstrap，避免首轮
  异步读取竞态；subagent 不重复注入，`explicit` activation mode 关闭自动入口。
- bootstrap 要求首个非只读操作前通过 Harness 原生 `skill` 工具加载相关 Aegis
  方法，或显式声明 `Route: fast-path`；不增加可能误拦截正常 fast path 的硬工具
  guard，也不提升为 runtime / completion authority。
- 通用/极简安装提示识别到官方 `dsh` 后默认分流到原生 profile plugin；
  `aegis-update.py register --host dsh` 不再静默创建 direct-child 暴露，只有显式
  `--compatibility-mode` 才允许兼容安装。
- 新增 DSH lifecycle bootstrap、安装分流、显式回退及打包边界回归测试。真实模型
  自动路由质量仍保持 environment-bound，不宣称 release-level live closeout。
- 本次未改变四份 `GLOBAL_USER_RULES*` 手工投影语义，现有用户无需重新复制全局
  规则；更新 DSH profile plugin 并重启对应 profile 即可获得新入口。

## v2.8.0 (2026-08-15)

### DeepSeek Harness 原生 bundle 安装

- 根 `package.json` 新增 `dsh.bundle.patch`，通过薄 Cordis adapter 将包内
  canonical `skills/` 树交给 Harness 原生 filesystem provider；不复制 skill
  正文，也不增加 runtime / completion authority。
- 默认安装切换为
  `dsh plugin --profile web add github:GanyuanRan/Aegis`；原
  `$DSH_HOME/skills` updater-managed direct-child 路径降为显式兼容模式，
  两条路径不得同时启用。
- 新增 DeepSeek Harness 确定性检查和隔离 integration lane，覆盖 profile
  dependency/bundle 调和、`--dump-config`、模块装载与卸载清理。
- 当前仍不宣称 release-level live routing closeout；developer-preview API、
  新会话 catalog、原生 `skill` 加载和代表性模型路由仍需逐版本验证。

## v2.7.8 (2026-08-14)

### DeepSeek Harness 结构性适配

- 新增官方 DeepSeek Harness（`deepseek-ai/deepseek-harness`）宿主指南，
  明确它与 DeepSeek-TUI 是两个独立宿主，并以原生 filesystem skill provider
  的 direct-child 目录形态接入 Aegis。
- `aegis-update.py` 新增 `deepseek-harness` / `dsh` 宿主识别，
  默认使用 `$DSH_HOME/skills`（未设置时为 `~/.dsh/skills`）并在注册时生成
  updater 管理的 skill 链接；Windows 使用 junction，macOS/Linux 使用 symlink。
- 新增 DeepSeek Harness 边界检查和更新器回归覆盖；README、中文 README、
  兼容矩阵、已知限制、测试说明、发布检查清单及中英文速通秘籍已同步。
- 更新器现在按本地控制台编码容错读取子进程输出，避免 Windows 非 UTF-8
  输出导致更新流程异常中断。
- 当前结论仍是“结构性安装适配完成”；DeepSeek Harness 处于 developer preview，
  尚无本版本 release-level live routing verdict。

## v2.7.7 (2026-08-13)

### Gemini CLI 支持退役

- 删除 `GEMINI.md`、`gemini-extension.json` 和 Gemini 专用工具映射；Aegis
  不再分发、验证或承诺 Gemini CLI 宿主支持。
- 企业、Google Cloud 和付费 API key 用户仍可能继续使用上游 Gemini CLI；
  本次变更是 Aegis 支持范围收缩，不宣称上游产品已经完全停止。
- Antigravity CLI 仍是 Google 宿主的 active closeout target，但继续保持
  “尚无 release-level fresh smoke verdict”，不会因 Gemini 退役而自动升级。

## v2.7.6 (2026-08-11)

### 更安全的 fallback 退役与变更决策

- 外部依赖状态未知时，Aegis 会保留兼容路径并请求确认，不再把“尚未证明存在
  活跃依赖”误判为可以直接删除。
- 强化 canonical owner、change necessity、minimum repair 与真实路由证据，
  让修复理由在首次编辑前更清晰，同时保持简单任务的 fast path。

### 更可靠的 benchmark v6 证据

- 冻结 sentinel / discriminator 角色、non-discriminating 与 mixed-result
  复核规则，继续把 benchmark 作为测量工具，而不是能力优化的唯一目标。
- 收紧 implementation-rationale 事件识别：排除模板、占位符和引用文本误报，
  同时保留真实 root cause / owner / minimum repair / decision 组合。

### 最新实测

- `gpt-5.6-sol` / `xhigh` extended held-out A/B 评测完成 120 次有效运行：
  合同通过率 **61.67% → 93.33%**，不安全结果率 **13.33% → 0%**。
- 结果为有界建议性证据；已通过 arm-hidden 技术复核，不构成普遍质量、
  运行时权威或完成权威声明。

## v2.7.5 (2026-08-10)

### 反熵增治理:自动触发,执行仍需确认

- `anti-entropy-governance` 触发机制从"仅显式请求"改为**自动触发**:任务触及
  owner 塌缩、fallback 移除或 schema/持久化/source-of-truth 边界时自动出现,
  识别反熵机会并给出 delete-first / compat-exception / confirmation-first
  分类;破坏性执行仍保留显式范围确认硬门(泛化同意无效、需备份/回滚提示)。
- 保持不进全局热路径预算;workflow-quality 断言同步更新。

### 路由统一:subagent/inline 与 worktree 纪律对齐

- 三个执行技能 description 统一补 "coordination benefit / otherwise inline"
  兜底(`subagent-driven-development`、`dispatching-parallel-agents`、
  `executing-plans`),与 writing-plans 内部条件一致。
- `subagent-driven-development` 的 long-task 加载从"multi-task 强制"收窄为
  "跨会话/handoff/需可恢复状态时";long-task-continuation 明确
  "多步/todo/subagent 本身不构成 durable 记录理由,默认 inline checkpoint"。
- 速通秘籍能力表与全局用户规则模板(中英)同步 subagent/worktree 纪律:
  worktree 仅限并发 checkout、阻塞性 dirty state、用户/仓库明确 authority。

### 贡献者修复:benchmark retry headroom 改为 floor 语义

- `run_agentic_benchmark.py` retry headroom 从无条件覆盖改为取最大值,
  不再把 extended-held-out(132/18000)错误降级到 64/7200;文档与回归测试
  同步(#15,感谢 Ryan Chou)。

## v2.7.2 (2026-08-09)

### 修复:路由描述收紧,消除三个主题的触发歧义

基于 description 审计发现的路由层问题,收紧 6 个技能的路由描述
(全部 ≤240 字符,Kimi Code 宿主要求):

- **文档创建**:`establishing-project-context` 触发词收窄(移除宽泛的
  "vague term",改为 conflicting/renamed/deprecated,并加
  "Routine small tasks stay on the fast path");`first-principles-review`
  的 "repeated fixes" 改为 "high-risk decisions" + 排除语——小任务不再被
  拉进正式建模/review 流程。
- **branch/worktree**:`finishing-a-development-branch` 措辞改为
  "integration or cleanup of an existing task-created branch/worktree",
  与 ADR-0003 的 exception-only 纪律对齐,不再暗示 Aegis 默认创建。
- **subagent/会话路由**:`executing-plans`(跨会话)与
  `subagent-driven-development`(当前会话)的区分标准写入双方 description;
  `dispatching-parallel-agents` 明确为"无书面计划的 2+ 独立任务",消除与
  SDD 的路由重叠;SDD 补 "ad-hoc tasks use dispatching-parallel-agents"。

验证:22 个 Kimi-visible skill 元数据有效、context budget、workflow
quality、TDD policy 检查全部通过。

## v2.7.1 (2026-08-09)

### 修复:小任务不再默认触发 spec/plan 文档创建

此前复杂度路由与技能描述的措辞会让小需求被误判为需要产出 spec/plan
文档。v2.7.1 收紧默认行为:

- `AEGIS_PROCESS_BASELINE.md` §12.5:medium 任务改为「会话内计划」;仅在
  what/why/acceptance 需要钉住且无既有 owner 文档覆盖时才写 Spec Brief 或
  plan 文档。
- `using-aegis` 热路径第 6 条:plan 明确「默认会话内,仅当需要跨会话持久
  方向或审批时写文档(Doc Necessity Gate)」。
- `brainstorming` / `writing-plans` 的路由描述收紧:低复杂度或常规小需求
  留在 fast path,不再进入设计/计划流程。
- `GLOBAL_USER_RULES_TEMPLATE`(中英)同步:会话内计划按复杂度相称,写
  文档仅限需要持久方向时。

### 修复:deferred ledger 问题路径改为相对扫描根

- `scripts/aegis-deferred-ledger.py`:marker 字段解析失败时,issue 路径从
  绝对路径改为相对扫描根,与 missing-fields 分支及正常条目保持一致。
- 新增 `test_issue_paths_are_repository_relative` 回归测试。

### 文档:修正 explicit-skill-request runner 的隔离声明

- `tests/explicit-skill-requests/run-test.sh`:注释从「使用隔离 HOME」修正为
  如实描述「在 scratch 项目目录、调用者真实 HOME 下运行」,与实际行为一致。

## v2.7.0 (2026-08-09)

### Pi CLI 与 OMP 宿主适配:自动注入 + 路由守卫

Pi CLI 和 OMP(Oh My Pi,can1357/oh-my-pi)此前只能被动发现 skills,模型
按需加载,没有强制路由能力。v2.7.0 为两个宿主补齐与 OpenCode 插件等价的
自动路由机制:

- 新增共享扩展核心 `extensions/shared/aegis-bootstrap.ts`:config 解析
  (`~/.config/aegis/config.toml` 的 activation/tdd 模式 + 环境变量覆盖)、
  紧凑 bootstrap 组装、路由守卫状态机(只读工具豁免、`SKILL.md`/`skill://`
  识别为技能加载、每会话最多触发一次)、method-pack 根祖先遍历解析。
- `extensions/pi/index.ts`(通过 `pi.extensions` 清单随包分发)与
  `extensions/omp/index.ts`(OMP 扩展)为薄适配层,复用共享核心;auto 模式下
  每次 LLM 调用前注入紧凑热路径,首个非只读工具调用无路由决策时在工具
  结果前追加 `AEGIS_ROUTING_GUARD` 可见标记。`explicit` 模式关闭注入与守卫。
- OMP 额外支持原生强制读取:`using-aegis/SKILL.md` 标记
