Scaffolding refers to the global resets and dependencies that Fabric is built upon.
If you’re starting a new project, we recommend using the following boilerplate.
Fabric makes use of certain HTML elements and CSS properties that require the use of the HTML5 doctype. Include it at the beginning of all your pages.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
<title>Your page title</title>
<meta name="description" content="Your page description">
</head>
<body>
Your page body
</body>
</html>We reset box-sizing to border-box for every element in Fabric. This allows us to more easily assign widths to elements that also have padding and borders.
Links have a default color and hover styling:
Here is what <a href="http://www.wealthsimple.com">an example link</a> looks like.<ol>
<li>One</li>
<li>Two</li>
<li>Three</li>
</ol><ul>
<li>One</li>
<li>Two</li>
<li>Three</li>
</ul>This class can be used to remove all default list styling (in navigation bars etc.)
<ol class="list-unstyled">
<li>One</li>
<li>Two</li>
<li>Three</li>
</ol>
