IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY
This License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (either
an individual or a single entity, "Licensee") and VNTANA, Inc. ("VNTANA") for
the VNTANA Viewer software library, including any associated documentation,
updates, and upgrades (collectively, the "Software").  BY INSTALLING, COPYING,
OR OTHERWISE USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS
AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT INSTALL
OR USE THE SOFTWARE.

1. LICENSE GRANT 
   Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and the purchase of a
   valid commercial license from VNTANA: 
   1.1. VNTANA grants Licensee a
   non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software
   solely in accordance with the license type purchased.  
   1.2.  Evaluation Use:
   The Software may be used for evaluation purposes only for a period of thirty
   (30) days from first installation. Evaluation use is limited to internal
   testing and assessment of the Software's functionality.  Any commercial use
   during the evaluation period is strictly prohibited.

2. RESTRICTIONS 
   2.1. NO COMMERCIAL USE WITHOUT LICENSE: The Software may NOT be used for any
   commercial purposes whatsoever without a valid commercial license purchased
   directly from VNTANA. Commercial purposes include, but are not limited to:
   Use in any product or service that generates revenue Use by any for-profit
   organization Use in internal business operations Use in any application
   distributed to third parties (whether for free or for payment) Use in
   providing services to third parties Use in connection with any business
   activities 
   2.2. General Restrictions: Licensee shall not: Distribute, sublicense, lease,
   rent, lend, or transfer the Software to any third party Modify, adapt,
   translate, or create derivative works based on the Software Reverse engineer,
   disassemble, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the
   Software Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the Software
   Use the Software to develop a competing product or service Use the Software
   in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
   
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 
   3.1. The Software is licensed, not sold. VNTANA retains all right, title, and
   interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights
   therein.  
   3.2. This Agreement does not grant Licensee any rights to trademarks, service
   marks, or trade names of VNTANA.

4. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER 
   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. VNTANA
   DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
   THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
   AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. VNTANA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE
   ERROR-FREE OR THAT ITS USE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 
   IN NO EVENT SHALL VNTANA BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
   CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES,
   WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL,
   OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE
   THE SOFTWARE; (B) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SOFTWARE; OR (C)
   ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE.

6. TERMINATION 
   6.1. This Agreement is effective until terminated. VNTANA may terminate this
   Agreement immediately if Licensee breaches any provision of this Agreement.
   6.2. Upon termination, Licensee must cease all use of the Software and
   destroy all copies in its possession or control.

7. COMMERCIAL LICENSING 
   To purchase a commercial license for the Software, please contact: VNTANA,

   are available for: 
       Single Application License 
       Multiple Application License
       Enterprise License

8. GOVERNING LAW 
   This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the
   laws of Illinois, United States of America, without regard to its conflict
   of law provisions.

9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT 
   This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties
   concerning the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous
   agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the Software.

By using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement,
understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
