## Task Objective
Deep creative exploration for complex problems or opportunities requiring comprehensive ideation and multi-perspective analysis.

## Process Workflow

### Phase 1: Context Deep-Dive (10-15 minutes)

**Elicitation Questions:**
1. **Core Challenge**: What's the main problem, opportunity, or creative challenge?
2. **Exploration Scope**: Are we looking for breakthrough innovation or incremental improvement?
3. **Constraints & Parameters**: What boundaries, limitations, or requirements must we work within?
4. **Success Criteria**: How will you know when we've achieved valuable creative insights?
5. **Stakeholder Perspectives**: Who are the key people this affects (users, team, business, etc.)?
6. **Time Horizon**: Are we exploring immediate solutions, future possibilities, or both?

### Phase 2: Multi-Dimensional Exploration (25-40 minutes)

**Exploration Dimensions** (Apply 3-4 based on context):

1. **Problem Reframing**
   - Challenge core assumptions about the problem
   - Explore "What if this isn't actually the real problem?"
   - Reframe from different stakeholder perspectives
   - Ask "How might we..." variations

2. **Solution Space Mapping**
   - Generate ideas across different approach categories
   - Explore both obvious and non-obvious solution spaces
   - Consider solutions from other industries/domains
   - Think in terms of "What would [different expert] do?"

3. **Constraint Removal**
   - "If we had unlimited resources, what would we do?"
   - "If this technical limitation didn't exist..."
   - "If we could start completely fresh..."
   - "What would this look like in 10 years?"

4. **Cross-Pollination**
   - How do completely different industries solve similar problems?
   - What can we learn from nature, art, sports, technology?
   - Random word/image association techniques
   - Analogical thinking exercises

5. **Future Scenario Planning**
   - Best case scenario exploration
   - Worst case scenario preparation
   - Most likely scenario planning
   - Wild card scenario consideration

6. **Reverse Engineering**
   - Start with ideal outcomes and work backward
   - "If we already solved this perfectly, what did we do?"
   - Identify critical success factors
   - Map dependencies and prerequisites

### Phase 3: Insight Synthesis (10-20 minutes)

**Synthesis Process:**
1. **Pattern Recognition**: Identify themes, connections, and recurring elements
2. **Insight Clustering**: Group related ideas and insights together
3. **Priority Assessment**: Rank insights by potential impact and feasibility
4. **Gap Identification**: Note areas that need further exploration
5. **Next Steps Planning**: Define specific actions to advance promising directions

### Phase 4: Documentation & Handoff (5-15 minutes)

**Output Generation:**
- **Executive Summary**: Key insights and breakthrough moments
- **Exploration Map**: Visual or structured overview of areas explored
- **Insight Inventory**: Detailed capture of valuable insights with context
- **Action Planning**: Prioritized next steps with owners and timelines
- **Further Exploration**: Areas identified for future creative sessions

## Facilitation Guidelines

### Engagement Techniques
- **Yes, And...**: Build on every idea without immediate judgment
- **Perspective Switching**: "What would a child/expert/alien think?"
- **Energy Management**: Mix high-energy brainstorming with reflective analysis
- **Idea Velocity**: Encourage rapid generation, worry about quality later

### Quality Indicators
- **Depth**: Moving beyond surface-level obvious ideas
- **Breadth**: Covering multiple solution approaches and perspectives
- **Novelty**: Generating unexpected or non-obvious insights
- **Feasibility Mix**: Balance of practical and visionary ideas
- **Stakeholder Relevance**: Ideas that matter to real people affected

### Session Flow Control
- **Divergent Phases**: Encourage maximum idea generation
- **Convergent Phases**: Guide toward synthesis and prioritization
- **Energy Monitoring**: Adjust pace based on user engagement
- **Transition Signals**: Clear movement between exploration dimensions

## Success Criteria

### Minimum Viable Output
- At least 30 distinct ideas or insights generated
- 3+ different perspectives or approaches explored
- Clear identification of 2-3 high-potential directions
- Specific next steps defined with actionable clarity

### Exceptional Output
- Breakthrough insights that reframe the challenge
- Cross-domain connections that create novel approaches
- Clear path from creative exploration to implementation
- Evidence of deep engagement and creative breakthrough

## Integration Points

### With Other Laboratory Tasks
- **Follow-up**: Can lead to focused `concept-prototyping` for promising ideas
- **Research**: May identify needs for `create-deep-research-prompt`
- **Testing**: Ideas can be validated through `concept-testing`
- **Synthesis**: Results can feed into `idea-synthesis` for combination

### With Other Agents
- **Mentor**: For task breakdown and implementation planning
- **Architect**: For technical feasibility assessment
- **Gauntlet**: For market validation of creative concepts

## Elicitation Protocol

**Required User Interactions:**
1. Context gathering responses (6 questions minimum)
2. Exploration dimension selection (user chooses 3-4 focus areas)
3. Active participation in chosen exploration exercises
4. Synthesis feedback and priority setting
5. Next steps confirmation and planning

**Facilitation Style:**
- Guide, don't generate - draw insights from user
- Use numbered options for selection points
- Encourage bold, wild ideas before practical filtering
- Maintain momentum while allowing reflection time
- Document in user's voice and thinking patterns
