# Concept Testing Task

## Task Configuration
```yaml
task_type: "interactive-workflow"
complexity: "moderate"
estimated_time: "25-40 minutes"
elicit: true
prerequisites: ["concept-development"]
outputs:
  - validation-results
  - improvement-recommendations
  - feasibility-assessment
```

## Task Objective
Systematically test and validate concepts through structured evaluation methods to assess viability, desirability, and feasibility.

## Process Workflow

### Phase 1: Test Design (8-10 minutes)
**Testing Framework Selection:**
1. **Desirability Testing** - User appeal and market need
2. **Feasibility Testing** - Technical and resource viability
3. **Viability Testing** - Business model and sustainability
4. **Usability Testing** - Practical implementation assessment

**Test Method Selection:**
- Assumption mapping and hypothesis testing
- Rapid prototyping and user feedback
- Expert evaluation and peer review
- Risk assessment and mitigation analysis

### Phase 2: Systematic Testing (15-25 minutes)

**Core Testing Process:**
1. **Assumption Identification** - What assumptions does this concept rely on?
2. **Hypothesis Formation** - What specific claims can we test?
3. **Evidence Gathering** - What data supports or challenges the concept?
4. **Validation Methods** - How can we test these hypotheses quickly?

**Testing Techniques:**
- **Five Whys** - Deep dive into concept foundations
- **Devil's Advocate** - Systematic challenge of assumptions
- **Pre-mortem Analysis** - Identify potential failure points
- **Stakeholder Perspective** - Evaluate from different viewpoints

### Phase 3: Results Analysis & Recommendations (7-10 minutes)
**Evaluation Framework:**
- **Strengths** - What works well about this concept?
- **Weaknesses** - What are the main limitations?
- **Opportunities** - How could it be improved or enhanced?
- **Threats** - What risks or obstacles exist?

**Decision Framework:**
- **Green Light** - Strong concept, proceed to development
- **Yellow Light** - Promising with modifications needed
- **Red Light** - Significant issues, major changes or abandonment recommended

## Success Criteria
- Systematic evaluation of all major assumptions
- Clear evidence-based assessment of concept viability
- Specific recommendations for improvement or next steps
- Risk identification and mitigation strategies
