# Function: getFirstDayOfMonth()

> **getFirstDayOfMonth**(`year`, `month`): `number`

Get the first day of the month (0 = Sunday, 1 = Monday, etc.)

## Parameters

### year

`number`

The year

### month

`number`

The month (0-11)

## Returns

`number`

The day of the week (0-6)
