### Breaking changes

- **Package is now ESM** (`"type": "module"`). The CLI is rewritten
  using commander.
- **Node >= 20** (was >= 16).
- **Hand-rolled `install|uninstall|status` subcommands removed.** They
  now print a migration pointer and exit 0 so existing automation
  doesn't silently break. Use the Claude Code plugin marketplace or
  npm install instead.
- `marketplace.json` relocated from repo root to
  `.claude-plugin/marketplace.json` to match the Claude Code plugin
  convention (semantic-pages, persistent-planning, etc.).

### Added

- Adopts `@theglitchking/claude-plugin-runtime@^0.1.0` for standardized
  update-policy management across all Glitch Kingdom plugins.
- **Postinstall** (`scripts/link-skills.js`) writes a default
  `.claude/aeon-loop.json` (updatePolicy: nudge) and registers a
  SessionStart update-check hook in `.claude/settings.json` for
  npm-install users (with plugin-vs-npm dedup).
- **Slash + CLI subcommands:**
  - `/aeon-loop:update` / `aeon-loop update`
  - `/aeon-loop:policy [auto|nudge|off]` / `aeon-loop policy`
  - `/aeon-loop:status` / `aeon-loop status`
  - `/aeon-loop:relink` / `aeon-loop relink`

The marketplace install path is unchanged — `plugins/aeon-loop/` is
still the plugin source directory, and its existing SessionStart /
PreToolUse / PreCompact / PostToolUse / Stop hooks are unmodified.
The new runtime SessionStart hook is only registered when the plugin
is installed as an npm dependency (i.e., when users don't also have
the marketplace version enabled in `~/.claude/settings.json`).
