# Wallet API guide

## Import required libraries

import { generateWallet } from '@tatumio/tatum';
```

## Generate a wallet

```typescript
const wallet = await generateWallet(Currency.BTC, false);
```

## Generate an address

```typescript
const address = await generateAddressFromXPub(
    Currency.BTC,
    false,
