# updateBusinessPartner

## Overview

Updates the shared BP name. Account name and preferred currency are edited through updateCustomerAccount / updateSupplierAccount. BP status is changed explicitly with deactivateBusinessPartner / reactivateBusinessPartner; account statuses remain independent.
