# submitStockAdjustment

## Overview

Submits a DRAFT Stock Adjustment for approval, transitioning it from DRAFT to SUBMITTED. This is a state transition only — no stock moves at submit time. A SUBMITTED adjustment is awaiting an approver's confirm or reject decision.

## Exception Handling

| Error Code | Description |
| --- | --- |
| INVENTORY_STOCK_ADJUSTMENT_NOT_FOUND | No stock adjustment exists for the given ID. |
| INVENTORY_INVALID_STATUS | The stock adjustment is not in DRAFT status and cannot be submitted. |
| INVENTORY_ITEM_NOT_FOUND | A referenced item does not exist. |
