# rejectStockAdjustment

## Overview

Rejects a SUBMITTED Stock Adjustment, transitioning it from SUBMITTED to REJECTED. An optional `rejectionReason` is recorded on the header. No stock moves. A REJECTED adjustment can be sent back to DRAFT for correction via the native resubmit transition (available in the native lifecycle but not surfaced by a resolver in this template).

## Exception Handling

| Error Code | Description |
| --- | --- |
| INVENTORY_STOCK_ADJUSTMENT_NOT_FOUND | No stock adjustment exists for the given ID. |
| INVENTORY_INVALID_STATUS | The stock adjustment is not in SUBMITTED status and cannot be rejected. |
