{{alias}}( arrays, initial, clbk ) Performs a reduction over elements in an input ndarray. A provided "ndarray" should be an object with the following properties: - dtype: data type. - data: data buffer. - shape: dimensions. - strides: stride lengths. - offset: index offset. - order: specifies whether an ndarray is row-major (C-style) or column-major (Fortran-style). The callback function should be a binary function accepting two arguments: - accumulated: the accumulated result. - currentValue: the current ndarray element. Each invocation of the callback should return an updated accumulated result. This return value is subsequently provided to the callback upon next invocation. After invoking the callback for each element in a provided ndarray, the function returns the return value from the last invocation of the callback. Parameters ---------- arrays: ArrayLikeObject Array-like object containing one input ndarray. initial: any Initial accumulator value. clbk: Function Callback function. Returns ------- result: any Accumulated result. Examples -------- // Define ndarray data and meta data... > var xbuf = new {{alias:@stdlib/array/float64}}( [ -1.0, -2.0, -3.0, -4.0 ] ); > var dtype = 'float64'; > var shape = [ 2, 2 ]; > var sx = [ 2, 1 ]; > var ox = 0; > var order = 'row-major'; // Using an ndarray... > var x = {{alias:@stdlib/ndarray/ctor}}( dtype, xbuf, shape, sx, ox, order ); > {{alias}}( [ x ], 0.0, {{alias:@stdlib/number/float64/base/add}} ) -10.0 // Using a minimal ndarray-like objects... > x = { ...
