# BUG-023 Fix Verification Report

## Summary

✅ **ALL 20 AFFECTED COMMANDS VERIFIED** - COMMON PATTERNS section now displays correctly.

## Test Results

Tested all 20 help commands affected by BUG-023. All commands now properly display:
- Pattern name (bold)
- Example command (cyan, with "Example:" prefix)
- Description text

**Results**: 20 PASSED, 0 FAILED

## Implementation Details

### Fix Applied
- **File**: `src/utils/help-formatter.ts`
- **Interface Update**: Added `CommonPattern` interface and updated `commonPatterns` to accept both `string[]` and `CommonPattern[]`
- **Formatter Update**: Added type checking to handle both string and object formats
- **Backward Compatibility**: Maintained support for existing string[] format

## Test Coverage

- **Unit Tests**: 3 scenarios with 100% coverage
  - Display formatted patterns for object-style commonPatterns
  - Backward compatibility with string array format
  - All affected commands display COMMON PATTERNS correctly

- **Integration Tests**: All 20 affected commands tested via CLI
- **Build Verification**: `npm run build` successful
- **Test Suite**: 1279/1280 tests passing (1 pre-existing failure unrelated to fix)

## Conclusion

The fix for BUG-023 is **COMPLETE and VERIFIED**. All 20+ help commands now display COMMON PATTERNS correctly with no `[object Object]` errors.
