# Security Review — @schedulespark/date-picker

- Runtime dependencies: none.
- No `innerHTML`/`dangerouslySetInnerHTML`-equivalent usage — all DOM construction uses `createElement`/`textContent`/`className`/`dataset`, so no injected-HTML risk from any option value (label, placeholder, etc.).
- No network requests, no `eval`, no dynamic `Function` construction.
- No storage (localStorage/cookies/etc.) reads or writes.
- Input parsing (`date-utils.ts`) validates strictly against a `YYYY-MM-DD` regex plus real calendar-date bounds checking before ever constructing a `Date` object — malformed input cannot reach `Date` constructors in a way that could produce `Invalid Date` propagating silently into rendered output.
