# @scayle/nuxt-opentelemetry ## 1.0.6 ### Patch Changes - Fixed missing Redis spans with the `node-server` preset and in `nuxt dev`. The module created the Node.js auto-instrumentations in a Nitro plugin, but the server bundle loads its dependencies before any Nitro plugin runs. An instrumentation can only patch modules loaded after it is created, so `redis` (loaded by the SCAYLE KV storage driver) and other modules the server loads at startup were never patched, and no `redis-GET`, `redis-SET` or `redis-connect` spans were exported. The server entry now creates the auto-instrumentations before it loads the application, and the SDK plugin passes those same instances to `NodeSDK`. In `nuxt dev`, the dev server bundle is written to `server.mjs`, and the `index.mjs` that Nitro starts the dev worker from creates the instrumentations before importing it. Instrumentations that `OTEL_NODE_ENABLED_INSTRUMENTATIONS` enables for modules loaded at startup, such as `fs` and `net`, now emit spans as well.
