Use CodeGraph for flow and impact, LSP for exact symbols, and the native DAP `debug` tool when a supported live process gives stronger evidence than logging. A bounded debugging investigation may use one checkpoint and one rewind report to discard noisy exploration while preserving the causal chain. Add or strengthen a regression check, apply the root-cause fix, and rerun relevant checks. Label diagnosis provisional when reproduction is impossible. Keep one primary spine and record protected-action checkpoints.
