# 🚀 Auto-Publish Setup

## Current Status
✅ GitHub Actions workflow configured
✅ Release trigger working
❌ NPM authentication needed

## Setup NPM Token

1. **Generate NPM Token**:
   ```bash
   npm login
   npm token create --read-only=false
   ```
   
2. **Add to GitHub Secrets**:
   - Go to: https://github.com/s0fractal/protein-hash/settings/secrets/actions
   - Click "New repository secret"
   - Name: `NPM_TOKEN` (⚠️ NOT NPM_AUTH_TOKEN)
   - Value: Your npm token (starts with `npm_...`)
   
3. **Verify Setup**:
   - Create a new release
   - Workflow should auto-publish to npm

## Manual Publish (if needed)

```bash
npm login
npm publish --access public
```

## Workflow Triggers

The publish workflow triggers on:
- GitHub Release creation
- Manual workflow dispatch
