# /rootcx:push

Push local files to RootCX cloud.

## Usage

```bash
npx @rootcx/cli push
```

## Options

- `--force` - Overwrite cloud files without confirmation

```bash
npx @rootcx/cli push --force
```

## What it does

1. Reads all project files from the current directory
2. Uploads them to the RootCX cloud
3. Updates the project's source files

## Which files are pushed?

All files except:
- `.rootcx/` directory
- `node_modules/`
- `.git/`
- `dist/`, `.next/`, `.turbo/`
- `.DS_Store`, lock files

## Conflict Resolution

If cloud files have been modified:
1. You'll see a warning about conflicts
2. Use `--force` to overwrite, or
3. Use `/rootcx:pull` first to get latest changes

## Workflow

1. Make changes locally
2. Run `verify_build` to validate
3. Run `/rootcx:push` to sync to cloud
4. Changes are now available in RootCX dashboard

## When to use

- After making local changes you want to persist
- Before collaborating with others
- To backup your work to the cloud

## Requirements

- Must be in a linked RootCX project directory
- Must be authenticated
