# Vendored grammar

`tree-sitter-bash.wasm` is a prebuilt Tree-sitter grammar for Bash.

It is vendored instead of pulled from npm because the only distributed multi-grammar packages are
either 20 MB+ (`@vscode/tree-sitter-wasm`) or ship a broken Bash build (`tree-sitter-wasms`, whose
grammar traps on `case` statements). The runtime side, `web-tree-sitter`, is a regular dependency.

The grammar must be ABI-compatible with the installed `web-tree-sitter`. This build reports
language version 15, which requires `web-tree-sitter >= 0.25`.
