## Technical Decisions

### Exit Code Convention
- **Decision**: Use Exit 2 for blocking errors, Exit 1 for warnings
- **Rationale**: Exit 2 injects error into agent context per Anthropic docs
- **Impact**: All hooks must follow this convention

### Defer just build
- **Decision**: Defer build recipe to future session
- **Rationale**: Core recipes complete, token budget exhausted
- **Impact**: Minor - build not critical for current phase

## Customization for CLEAR Framework

When adapting for CLEAR Framework:

1. Change `phase` to `workpackage` in YAML header
2. Add `branch` field to track git branch
3. Include test counts in verification status
4. Reference `workpackage-status.yaml` for status updates
