## Products, collections, and collection items

Pocket Trash uses the same image for both the card preview and the main detail image for a product, collection, or collection item.

## Aspect ratio

Use a **4:3 landscape image** so the complete image appears consistently in both places. Examples include 1200 × 900, 1600 × 1200, and 2000 × 1500 pixels.

Images with a different aspect ratio can still be uploaded, but Pocket Trash crops them to fill the 4:3 frame. Keep the subject and other important details away from the edges.

## Size and quality

- Use at least **1200 × 900 pixels** to avoid visible softness or degraded image quality.
- **2000 × 1500 pixels** is recommended for a sharper result on high-density displays.
- Upload the highest-quality original available. Pocket Trash stores the original and can create appropriately sized versions when displaying it.
- Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF.
- Each image can be up to 25 MiB. A single upload can contain up to 20 images and total up to 200 MiB.
