# Plot Games Additional Permission

This additional permission supplements the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0.
Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in that license. The
licensor granting this permission is qLabs LLC.

The **Covered SDK** is the software originally made available by qLabs LLC as
part of the `@plot.game/sdk` package; copies of that software; changes and new
works based on it; and compiled, minified, or bundled forms of any of the
foregoing, in each case made or distributed as permitted by these terms. It
includes protocol implementation incorporated into that package's compiled
JavaScript and source maps. It does not include `@plotgame/host-bridge`, the
standalone `@plot.game/protocol` workspace or source code, or any other
repository content.

In addition to the purposes permitted by the PolyForm Noncommercial License
1.0.0, developing, testing, copying, modifying, compiling, minifying, bundling,
distributing, marketing, charging for access to, and operating a Plot Game using
the Covered SDK through Official Plot Services is a permitted purpose, even when
undertaken for a commercial purpose.

A **Plot Game** is a browser-based game or interactive experience intended to be
made available, or actually made available, for play in an Official Plot Game
Session. A Plot Game may be free, paid, or otherwise commercially monetized.

An **Official Plot Game Session** is a game session launched by and played through
Official Plot Services. The game's application code and static assets may be
served from infrastructure operated by the game's developer, publisher, or a
third-party hosting provider.

**Official Plot Services** means services operated by qLabs LLC at `plot.game`
and other services that qLabs LLC expressly designates in published documentation
as official Plot services.

This additional permission applies only to copies and uses of the Covered SDK
that are launched by, submitted to, deployed for, or loaded by Official Plot
Services, or used in the development environments described below. Making the
same game available elsewhere does not extend this permission to any copy or use
of the Covered SDK outside Official Plot Services.

This permission includes using the Covered SDK in local, preview, staging, and
continuous-integration environments solely to develop or test a Plot Game for
Official Plot Services.

This permission does not authorize commercial use of the Covered SDK to
provide a game platform, marketplace, hosting service, SDK, game-session service,
synchronization service, or another service for making games available outside
Official Plot Services. Making the same game available elsewhere does not extend
this permission to any copy or use of the Covered SDK in those separate sessions.
Uses not granted by this permission remain governed solely by the PolyForm
Noncommercial License 1.0.0; its existing noncommercial permissions are not
reduced.

Anyone distributing the Covered SDK under this permission must provide a
copy of this permission, or a URL for it, in addition to satisfying the Notices
section of the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0.

Except for the additional permitted purpose stated here, the PolyForm
Noncommercial License 1.0.0 remains in effect.
