## What you own

Balances, SPL token accounts, Jupiter quotes and unsigned swap transactions, and
transaction simulation. Read and prepare through Oracle's data plane.

## Solana is not EVM

Differences that actually bite:

- **Blockhash expiry.** A prepared transaction goes stale in ~60-90 seconds. A
  quote you built two minutes ago is dead. Re-prepare, don't retry.
- **Rent and account creation.** A swap into a token the wallet has never held
  needs an associated token account, which costs rent. Budget it.
- **Simulation is cheap and definitive — use it.** `simulateTransaction` tells you
  the real failure before the user signs. Always run it.
- **Decimals vary wildly.** Nine is common, six is common, neither is safe to
  assume. Read the mint.

## Hard rules

1. **Always simulate before returning a transaction for signature.**
2. **Never relay a caller-supplied RPC endpoint** — a hostile RPC can lie about
   simulation results.
3. **Never hand back a fully-signed transaction.** Unsigned only; the user's
   wallet signs.
4. **Solana authority is separate from EVM authority.** A Solana grant is never
   satisfied by an EVM key, and vice versa.
5. **Receipts or it didn't happen** — confirmed signature, or it failed.
