# Skills Hub 0.0.6

The default npm installation source now follows `latest` instead of pinning a plugin version.

- Keep Harness rc.2 as the recommended/development cohort; add exact `0.2.1-rc.3` as preview after isolated host and browser acceptance. Retain rc.1 support.
- Generate peer declarations and the Linux/Windows real-host matrix from one validated compatibility policy. Reject missing required peers, mixed development cohorts and a widening `engines.dsh` override.
- Verify the same tarball through the actual host CLI, authentication fence, skill install/removal and process-restart cache before publication.
- Invoke npm without Windows batch-file execution and cover portable test paths/directory links.
- Add the read-only `pnpm check:upstream` command and post-publication installation verification.

Exact evidence and coverage boundaries are recorded in `docs/COMPATIBILITY.md`. Native Electron and live upstream availability are separate from deterministic provider-transport coverage.
