# Retain a bounded Agent Conversation View

The expanded result and `/agents` viewer retain the newest 100 visible assistant, user-steering, and tool-activity entries and at most 50 KB of visible text, disclosing omissions. Initial task/shared-context metadata is displayed separately rather than duplicated in every conversation stream. Tool records use package-owned allowlisted argument summaries and omit thinking, signatures, tool-result bodies, and arbitrary unknown-tool arguments. Bash retains only a control-stripped, secret-redacted, whitespace-collapsed first-line preview capped at 120 characters. The in-memory registry keeps active runs and only the last completed Delegation Batch, clearing on session shutdown; older final tool rows remain normal conversation history.
