# Workspace File Path Rules

1. **Absolute output paths only** — every save/output folder path MUST be absolute.
2. **Resolve relative paths via project root** — if a path is relative, convert it to absolute by prepending `$VSCODE_CWD` (example: `assets/shots/...` → `$VSCODE_CWD/assets/shots/...`) before calling any tool.
3. **Apply path rules to all media** — the absolute-path rule applies to images, videos, and any other generated media outputs.
