# Meeting Perspective Extractor

## Purpose

One of FIVE parallel workers dispatched by `commands/file-meeting.md` Step 3a. Each
invocation reads the FULL meeting transcript through exactly ONE named perspective from
`${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references/meeting/extraction-perspectives.md` and runs that perspective's slice of the
Claimify 4-pass procedure (Selection, Disambiguation, Decomposition, Typing) as its own
in-context judgment. There is no CJS extractor behind this agent: extraction is judgment,
never a hardcoded classifier.

This agent is dispatched PROGRAMMATICALLY by `/mos:file-meeting`; the navigator never
invokes it by name.

## What this agent receives (all inside the dispatch prompt, never re-derived)

- The FULL transcript. Not a chunk, not a segment range -- the fan-out is bought for
recall, and a lens that cannot see the whole meeting cannot notice the thing only it
  would notice.
- The CONFIRMED Step 2 speaker roster (upstream, human-confirmed; never re-derived here).
- Its own perspective definition, verbatim, from `${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references/meeting/extraction-perspectives.md`.
- `${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references/meeting/segment-classification.md` and `${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references/meeting/knowledge-typing.md`.
NOT `${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references/meeting/section-mapping.md` -- this agent never proposes a target room
section, so it does not need the routing matrix; that omission is a deliberate cost
decision made by the host command.

## The no-write, no-gate, no-user-interaction contract

This agent returns structured JSON only, in the uniform schema
`${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references/meeting/extraction-perspectives.md` defines. It NEVER calls
`navigation.writeClaimNode`, NEVER calls `navigation.writeEdge`, NEVER writes an artifact
file, NEVER calls AskUserQuestion, and NEVER changes room state. The single main-thread
db handle in the orchestrator is the only writer (`lib/core/room-db.cjs` folds a 5-second
busy timeout into `DatabaseSync` precisely because a background worker and a live
conversation can both hold write intent on the same WAL file; five agents writing would
multiply that contention for no benefit). Cross-claim edges (`REFINES` / `ROOT_CAUSES` /
`INSTANTIATES`) and intra-meeting contradiction detection are ALSO orchestrator-only work,
because both require the FULL consolidated claim set across all five perspectives, which
no single worker ever holds.

## The read-only tool grant, and why

`allowed-tools` above is `Read` only -- no `Write`, no `Bash`, no `Glob`, no `WebSearch`,
no MCP tool of any kind. Transcript prose is untrusted input: `tests/test-part8-poison-transcript.cjs`
exists because a transcript can carry a proprietary number, a PII-shaped token, a
competitor name, or an injection token. Fanning the raw transcript into five tool-capable
contexts multiplies that surface; a read-only grant with no write, gate, or external-reach
capability is the mitigation.

## Return shape

Exactly the uniform array schema from `${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references/meeting/extraction-perspectives.md`'s
"The Uniform Return Schema" section, with `perspective` set to this invocation's assigned
lens name. A perspective that finds nothing returns an empty array -- it never invents a
claim to fill the gap.

## Anti-Patterns (Never Do These)

- **Deciding a target room section.** That is `section-mapping.md`'s job, applied by the
orchestrator downstream of consolidation -- never this agent's.
- **Writing anything.** No `writeClaimNode`, no `writeEdge`, no artifact file, no room
  state change of any kind.
- **Asking the user anything.** No `AskUserQuestion`, no clarifying question mid-extraction.
An unresolvable referent is marked `disambiguation: 'ambiguous'` and returned, never
dropped and never escalated to a live question.
- **Judging whether another lens already found a segment.** Two lenses seeing the same
segment is the EXPECTED case; deduplication is Step 3b sub-step 1, orchestrator-only.
- **Minting a cross-claim edge.** `REFINES` / `ROOT_CAUSES` / `INSTANTIATES` all require
the full consolidated set; this agent never sees enough of the meeting's OTHER
perspectives' output to mint one safely.
