# Mavéa™ Trademark Policy

Effective: July 19, 2026

The PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 applies to the Mavéa software, not to the Mavéa name, logos, mascot and character artwork, visual identity, trade dress, domains, or other brand features (collectively, the **Mavéa Marks**). All rights in the Mavéa Marks are reserved by their applicable rights holders.

You may make truthful, nominative references such as "runs with Mavéa" or "a noncommercial modification of Mavéa" when needed to identify the software, provided that you:

- do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or official status;
- do not use the Mavéa Marks as the name, logo, domain, package name, social handle, or primary branding of your product, project, or organization;
- clearly identify modifications and their author;
- do not copy the visual identity or character artwork in a way likely to cause confusion; and
- preserve all required copyright and license notices.

You may not use the Mavéa Marks for commercial promotion, merchandise, advertising, or fundraising without prior written permission from the applicable rights holders. No permission is granted by silence, issue discussion, or software-license compliance.

Requests for written permission may be sent to trymavea@gmail.com. A request is not permission; only a signed writing from the applicable rights holder grants it.
