# Third-party notices

Pi Scholar uses the open-source npm dependencies listed in `package.json`, including MIT- and Apache-2.0-licensed packages; their license files are included by npm where applicable.

Zotero integration and MinerU normalization behavior follow the official Zotero Web API v3 and MinerU API documentation. Online scholarly features use the Ai4Scholar service APIs. Product and service names remain the property of their respective owners.

The first-party multi-source adapters are limited to Semantic Scholar, OpenAlex, PubMed/PMC, arXiv, Crossref, Unpaywall, the verified easyScholar `getPublicationRank` endpoint, Materials Project, and CAS Common Chemistry (when provider-issued API access material is available). Data access and redistribution remain subject to each source's terms. CAS Common Chemistry identifies its public substance content as CC BY-NC 4.0; this project does not grant commercial rights or access to SciFinder content. Ai4Scholar remains a separate, explicitly selected service and is never an automatic paid fallback.

`saxes` and its `xmlchars` dependency validate XML for inert SVG and Atom assets; their installed license files accompany the npm dependencies.
