Inspect `composer.json`, framework config, routes, controllers, migrations, and tests before editing.

Use `php -l`, Composer scripts, PHPUnit, Pest, or framework test commands when available. Avoid global PHP extension or service changes unless explicitly approved, and keep `vendor/` out of commits.
