# Architecture Review

Establish the system's goals, constraints and current design. Inspect the actual
code before proposing abstractions. Compare a small set of viable approaches,
including keeping the current design. Consider correctness, security, operating
cost, failure handling, migration and reversibility.

Recommend the smallest design that meets requirements. Distinguish evidence
from assumptions and resolve consequential unknowns. Record an ADR when the
choice warrants a durable decision; do not require a scoring rubric, universal
GO/NO-GO gate or a new approval when implementation is already authorized.

During implementation use TDD and task-relevant checks. Report concrete risks
and deferred decisions without turning advisory cleanup into a blocking project.
