# Function: openTextFileOpenDialog()

> **openTextFileOpenDialog**(`options`): `Promise`\<`string`[]\>

Displays a file open dialog to browse after and selecting files.
Reads the selected files as text files and returns their contents.

## Parameters

### options

`OpenDialogSyncOptions`

The dialog options.

## Returns

`Promise`\<`string`[]\>

The text contents of all selected file paths.
