# Function: getExtensionDialogArgs()

> **getExtensionDialogArgs**\<`TArgs`\>(): `Promise`\<`TArgs` \| `undefined`\>

Reads the arguments passed to this dialog by `openExtensionDialog`.

The arguments are held by CanKing rather than placed on the dialog's URL, and are only handed to
the window they were meant for.

## Type Parameters

`TArgs` = `unknown`

Type of the arguments.

## Returns

`Promise`\<`TArgs` \| `undefined`\>

The arguments, or undefined if none were supplied or this is not an extension dialog.
