## Summary

Phase 4 goal is fully achieved. All three technical debt items are eliminated:

1. **QUAL-01 (alias removal):** `internal/api/client.go` contains zero backward-compatibility wrapper functions. Every caller in `cmd/` uses the six canonical function names directly. The only references to old alias names in non-generated code are in test files using the variable names `apiGetChallenge` / `apiGetChallengeForSubmit` — these are test injection variables pointing to the canonical functions, not aliases.

2. **QUAL-02 (walk deduplication):** `internal/deployer/walk.go` is the single home of the `filepath.WalkDir` loop. Both `challenge.go` and `local.go` are reduced to a one-line call to `applyManifestDirs`. Test files in the deployer package use `WalkDir` for test assertions, which is correct and unrelated to production logic.

3. **QUAL-03 (polling replacement):** Both `WaitForDeploymentsReady` and `WaitForStatefulSetsReady` use `wait.PollUntilContextTimeout` with a 2s interval and 5m timeout. No `time.After` or `time.Sleep` calls appear in either function. The `WaitForNamespaceActive` function retains its `time.NewTicker` loop — the plan explicitly exempts it.
