## User Story

**As a** developer who wants full control over the build process
**I want** detailed manual installation steps from source code
**So that** I can build, customize, and run the MCP server from the repository

---

## Story Description

### Current System Context

The MCP server source code is available on GitHub at `https://github.com/your-org/mcp-n8n-workflow-builder` (public repository). The codebase structure:

```
mcp-n8n-workflow-builder/
├── src/                    # TypeScript source code
│   ├── index.ts           # MCP server entry point
│   ├── config/            # Configuration loading
│   ├── services/          # Core business logic
│   ├── types/             # TypeScript type definitions
│   └── utils/             # Utility functions
├── build/                 # Compiled JavaScript (git-ignored)
├── package.json           # Dependencies and scripts
├── tsconfig.json          # TypeScript configuration
└── README.md              # Project documentation
```

**Available npm scripts** (from package.json):
- `npm run clean` - Remove build artifacts
