# getBiologicalSex

Get the biological sex (gender). If the `BiologicalSex` read permission is missing or the user has denied it then the value will be `unknown`. The possible values are:

| ------- | --------------------- |
| unknown | HKBiologicalSexNotSet |
| male    | HKBiologicalSexMale   |
| female  | HKBiologicalSexFemale |
| other   | HKBiologicalSexOther  |
