## Executive Summary

Windows Computer Use has undergone a major architectural refactor to implement the **Portmanteau Pattern**. The server has been consolidated from 60+ scattered individual tools down to **8 comprehensive portmanteau tools**, following FastMCP 2.13.1 best practices.

## Known Issues

### Issue 1: Test Suite Needs Migration
**Status:** Open  
**Priority:** Medium  
**Description:** Unit tests still reference old individual tool functions. Need to update to test portmanteau operations.

### Issue 2: Desktop State Import Warning
**Status:** Fixed in 0.3.0  
**Description:** `Optional[Image]` type hint was failing when PIL not properly imported. Fixed by adding explicit `from PIL import Image` import.

### For Users Upgrading from v0.2.x

**Before (v0.2.x):**

The old individual tool implementations are preserved in `tools/archived/` but are no longer registered with the MCP server. If you need direct function access for testing, import from archived modules.
