A design plugin for Claude Code and Codex. Turn a brief into screens: explore directions, build a design system, make prototypes and review the result. Also available for Gemini CLI and Cursor.

## Install

You need Node.js 20 or 22 and npm 10.

```sh
npm install --global @humbleteam/humbleagents@next --ignore-scripts
```

Create a folder for the plugin and replace `/path/to/humbleagents` below with its full path. Choose the hosts you use:

```sh
humbleagents install --location "/path/to/humbleagents" --profile core --runtime claude,codex --yes
```

**Claude Code**

```sh
claude --plugin-dir "/path/to/humbleagents/runtimes/claude"
```

**Codex CLI**

```sh
codex plugin marketplace add "/path/to/humbleagents"
codex plugin add humbleagents@humbleagents-local
```

Start a new session in your project. In Codex, if `/humble:*` is absent from the command menu, select the **humble** skill and type the command.

For Gemini CLI, Cursor or installation from source, see the [installation guide](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@humbleteam/humbleagents@13.0.0-rc.0/docs/hosts-and-updates.md).

## What you can do

- **Start a project.** Turn notes and a brief into requirements and a design direction.
- **Design a feature.** Explore layouts, define components and build a working prototype.
- **Review the work.** Check screens and flows before handing them over.
- **Make ad creatives.** Develop concepts, generate variants and compare them.

The agents use shared design references together with your project's brief, decisions and design system.

## Examples

For a [connected project](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@humbleteam/humbleagents@13.0.0-rc.0/docs/project-workspaces.md) called `bookshop`:

```text
/humble:setup project=bookshop -- Turn the brief into requirements for an online bookshop.
/humble:design-system project=bookshop -- Define typography, colors and reusable components.
/humble:product project=bookshop -- Build a checkout using the project's design system.
/humble:review project=bookshop -- Review the checkout and suggest fixes for the main usability problems.
```

Describe the result you want, and include the relevant files, screens or links.

## More

- **Projects:** each project has its own GitHub repository. Installing the public plugin grants no access to private projects or permission to create repositories in the team organization. [Connect a project and sync context](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@humbleteam/humbleagents@13.0.0-rc.0/docs/project-workspaces.md).
- **Connections:** use Gmail and Granola through MCP connections in your app. Figma and Mobbin are optional too. [Connection setup](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@humbleteam/humbleagents@13.0.0-rc.0/docs/project-workspaces.md).
- **Updates:** [update, roll back or change your installation](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@humbleteam/humbleagents@13.0.0-rc.0/docs/hosts-and-updates.md). Finish the current task before updating.
- **Troubleshooting:** run `/humble:doctor`. See [host support and known limitations](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@humbleteam/humbleagents@13.0.0-rc.0/docs/verification.md).

## Uninstall

For the Claude Code setup above, start Claude without `--plugin-dir`.

For Codex:

```sh
codex plugin remove humbleagents@humbleagents-local
```

Then remove the managed files and CLI:

```sh
humbleagents uninstall --location "/path/to/humbleagents" --yes
npm uninstall --global @humbleteam/humbleagents
```

Project data is kept separately from the plugin. [Removal details](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@humbleteam/humbleagents@13.0.0-rc.0/docs/hosts-and-updates.md#uninstall).

## Contributing

Open an issue or send a pull request with a focused change. Use `/humble:improve` to propose changes to shared design knowledge. Keep client data and credentials out of submissions.

For code changes, install dependencies and run the tests:

```sh
npm ci --prefix platform --ignore-scripts
npm test --prefix platform
```
