# Pause or resume an agent's pipeline subscription

**PUT** `/v1/agents/{id}/pipelines/{jobId}/state`

**Operation ID**: `setPipelineState`
**Summary**: Pause or resume an agent's pipeline subscription
Sets one subscription to PAUSED or ACTIVE. While paused, new signals from the pipeline are dropped for this agent, and the pipeline keeps marking new patterns as sent. Investigations already queued still run. The running pipeline is not restarted.
