# Get a dataset table's file-statistics setting **GET** `/v1/datasets/{id}/tables/{tableKey}/column-metrics` **Operation ID**: `getTableColumnMetrics` **Summary**: Get a dataset table's file-statistics setting Returns whether the table's default column statistics mode is Grepr's, truncate(16), which collects min/max values and null counts on every column of its data files that has no per-column mode, indexed columns past the first 100 included, so searches can skip files on them. Off by default: the table then has Iceberg's inferred statistics on its first 100 columns, unless mode reports a default set outside Grepr. spans_raw keeps them on its built-in span fields either way. Supported for logs_raw and spans_raw. ## Tags - Datasets ## Parameters - **id** (required) - path - Type: string - **tableKey** (required) - path - Type: string ## Responses ### 200 The table's setting. - **Content-Type**: `application/json` / `TableColumnMetrics` ### 404 Dataset not found, or the table has no such setting.
