# @file-viewer/renderer-image

Standalone image renderer package for Flyfish File Viewer. It handles browser-side preview, lightbox viewing, and unified zoom for `png`, `jpg`, `webp`, `avif`, `gif`, `svg`, `tiff`, `ico`, `heic`, `heif`, `jxl`, and related image files.

TIFF opens the MIT-licensed UTIF.js decoder only after the format is selected. It supports CCITT Group 4 and vertically stacked multipage previews with group zoom, rotation, fit-width behavior, page status, and double-click or keyboard lightbox access. Source bytes, page count, dimensions, per-page pixels, and cumulative decoded pixels are bounded; page RGBA buffers are released after progressive conversion. Native PNG/JPEG/WEBP paths do not load the TIFF decoder.

## Features

- Common image formats use native browser decoding without extra runtime work.
- HEIC / HEIF dynamically imports `heic2any` only when those formats are opened.
- Rotates left or right in 90° steps and refits both the main view and lightbox without clipping.
- Includes lightbox viewing, unified zoom and view-state providers, a theme-aware background, and unmount cleanup.

## Migration Note

`@file-viewer/core` still keeps lightweight native image preview for browser-supported PNG / JPEG / SVG / WebP formats, but it no longer installs `heic2any` by default. Install this package explicitly, or use `@file-viewer/preset-all`, when HEIC / HEIF conversion or the full standalone image renderer is required.
