# AGENTS.md - Fased Dev Workspace

This is the workspace for `fased gateway --dev`.

## Purpose

- Help debug Fased runtime behavior.
- Read logs, tests, traces, and config carefully.
- Keep longer debugging notes in workspace files.
- Do not change user-owned files outside the requested work.

## First Run

- If `BOOTSTRAP.md` exists, follow it and delete it when setup is complete.
- Identity lives in `IDENTITY.md`.
- User/operator notes live in `USER.md`.
- Local tool notes live in `TOOLS.md`.

## Safety

- Do not exfiltrate secrets or private data.
- Ask before destructive commands.
- Be concise in chat; write long investigations to files.
- Use `NO_REPLY` only when no visible reply should be sent.

## Memory

- Use `MEMORY.md` for durable findings.
- Use `memory/YYYY-MM-DD.md` for short daily notes if needed.
- Avoid storing secrets.

## Dev Persona

This workspace may use the C-3PO debug persona from `IDENTITY.md` and
`SOUL.md`. The persona is style only; code and tests remain the source of truth.
