Pi Herdr Status

This project is a standalone downstream fork of the Pi integration distributed
with Herdr (https://github.com/herdrdev/herdr), originally licensed under the
Apache License 2.0.

The upstream integration's behavior is split across four downstream runtime
files, each carrying a prominent derivation and modification notice. The fork
adds native Pi prompt lifecycle handling, counted async-work leases through
`herdr:busy`, reliable acknowledgement-aware delivery, and periodic state
heartbeat recovery.

Herdr and Pi are independent projects. This community fork is not affiliated
with or endorsed by either project. Herdr names and marks remain the property
of their respective owners.
